Hello, Beautiful Person! I’m Nebulous Niang, and my life has been anything but scripted! I'm a stand-up comedian, a queer single mum, and an advocate for living authentically and courageously.
From Corporate to Comedy
My Unscripted Journey
For most of my life, I lived by a script I thought was my destiny: corporate career, marriage, kids, and a neat, 'expected' path. But life, as it often does, threw some magnificent plot twists my way. After navigating the painful aftermath of a divorce, and learning to truly embrace my authentic self as a lesbian mum in an intercultural relationship in conservative Singapore, I made a bold choice: I left the corporate world after an 18 year career for the stand-up stage!
This journey taught me invaluable lessons about trusting intuition, leaning into humour, and finding joy even when life takes unexpected turns. My experiences, from growing up emotionally repressed to negotiating a challenging relationship and finding love as a queer woman, have forged the resilience and humour I now share.

Since bursting onto Singapore's vibrant comedy scene in 2022, I've quickly become a regular headliner, known for my energetic, original, and versatile performances. My humour bridges cultural divides, resonating with audiences around the globe. I've had the incredible opportunity to hone my unique voice on stages in Bangkok, Mumbai, Perth, Melbourne, San Francisco, Edinburgh, and Vietnam.
I perform my hour-long stand-up comedy special, SLOMOSEXUAL, regularly to sold-out audiences in Singapore, and brought the show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2025! You can also catch me co-hosting The Comedy and Custody Podcast with my "comedy wife," Sasha Frank, where we share hilarious and unfiltered takes on single parenting, relationships, and life's beautiful chaos.
